…you leave a woman cooped up in a house with snow that keeps falling and -4 degree weather? Well, if she has a camera and a baby…

Did I put my daughter in a Christmas hat, then stuff her in a large stocking? Afraid so.
This next move was tough, as you can see the looks on her face. Head lifting is a difficult task.

Paul would have nothing to do with the “naked baby in stocking” photo shoot. Maddux wasn’t sure she wanted to do it either.

Paul did take this one for us.

Your baby is adorable. Ha ha…the only year she will fit in a stocking so you might as well!

I love the “Anne Geddes” shots, I completely understand the cooped up feelings and I do not live in the tundra!! She is soooo cute!

Oh Samm – You didn’t – I’ve yet to let me mom live down the fact that my first Christmas she hung me (6 months old) on the wall in a jumbo Christmas stocking for our Christmas photo. She swears she was underneath spotting just in case
Maddux is so cute! I’m sure I’ll be up to my own photo antics next Christmas with our little Charis (due any day). I think of you often! Love, Kristen

I love the pictures of Maddux! She is so beautiful!! i am sorry you’ve had such a rough time with the cysts and all. I do admire your perspective so much. I can so easily focus on the negative in the little things and the difficult ones. I was spurred on by what you had to say. I hope that you are feeling better now. I sure do miss you. I know you are an incredible mommy!!
